     Raipur, May 01, 2014: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today reviewed the situation relating to the jaundice in capital city of Raipur, in which two persons have been killed and many are down with the disease.

     Chief Secretary Sunil Kumar and other senior officials from Health, Urban Administration and other departments were present in the meeting.

     The Chief Minister directed top officials to take immediate steps to clean slum areas and provide safe drinking waters in the capital city.

     The officials were directed to visit the area and ensure health and sanitation works are going on in proper way, sources said.

     After two persons were killed and hundreds were detected jaundice the Chief Minister took the matter seriously and had expressed his displeasure as jaundice was repeatedly hitting many parts of Raipur city in a regular interval.
