3-Day National Tribal Dance Festival begins

    Raipur, November 01, 2022: The Third National Tribal Dance Festival was today inaugurated by Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr Charan Das Mahant and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.

     Beating Nagada, Speaker Mahant declared the start of the three-day national event, being organised at the Raipur Science College Ground in the presence of Chief Minister Baghel.

     Although it is called the National Dance Festival but it has been attracting participants from the foreign nations also, officials told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.

     This is for the third time Chhattisgarh is organising such an event after Bhupesh Baghel became Chief Minister in 2018.

     Chhattisgarh has a sizeable tribal population and politically also they have a say in government formation looking into the Schedule Tribe seats reserved in the assembly.
