Raipur, March 03, 2010: Opposition Congress today demanded resignation and other legal actions against Agriculture Minister Chandrasekhar Sahu for allegedly having links with naxalites.
However, the Minister dismissed the allegation.
Sahu be dismissed from the cabinet for allegedly having links with naxals, PCC Acting President Satya Narayan Sharma and senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel claimed and demanded a thorough probe into the matter.
They claimed Sahu has ideological link with Prafulla Jha, who was currently in judicial custody, and anyone having relation with any such people have no right to continue in the council of ministry.
In 2001 an article by Jha was published on drought and migration of people and the same article was in 2008 published by Sahu in his name, which reflected his relations with people having alleged links with naxalites, the Congress leaders claimed.
However, the Minister dismissed the allegation saying it was an attempt by Congress to defame him and his party.
Sahu also challenged the opposition to prove their allegation else leave politics.
