Raipur, September 03, 2012: Chhattisgarh Congress today demanded resignation of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities in allotment of coal blocks of the state.
“Raman Singh has misguided the people on the coal block allotment issue, hence he should resign from the Chief Ministership,” Chhattisgarh PCC President Nand Kumar Patel told reporters here.

Senior Congress Legislature Mohammad Akbar also said the company handled by the family members of the BJP MP Sancheti never had any experience of developing mines nor the SMS Infrastructure had submitted any such proof.
“We demand a CBI probe into this coal scam,” Akbar said.
