Raipur, August 04, 2015: PCC President Bhupesh Baghel today alleged that the state BJP government was trying to suppress the case of examination scandal involving School Education Kedar Kashyap’s wife.
“The state government is trying to suppress the case,” PCC President told reporters here.
Baghel also demanded immediate sack of Kedar Kashyap from the cabinet after news of someone else appeared in place of her wife for the MA English Final examination came to fore.
Looking into the seriousness of the matter, the Chief Minister should also resign, he said.
Congress also released the Roll number of Shanti Kashyap as 66863 and said it was a reflection of the education standard of the state.
At the Lohandiguda Government Higher Secondary School of Bastar District, in the final MA English examination instead of Shanti Kashyap someone else was appearing in the exam, officials said.
When officials reached the Centre and started probing the identity of the girl who was appearing for Shanti, the girl slipped out of the room silently without revealing her original identity.
Lohandiguda Tehsildar had also reached the School and initiated action on the matter, officials said.
However, when asked School Education Minister Kedar Kashyap said “I am not aware about the incident as I am away from the capital.”
