Raipur, February 18, 2013: Adopting an aggressive posture, main opposition Congress today interrupted several times the address of the Governor Shekhar Dutt during the inaugural day of the Budget session of Chhattisgarh assembly.

From the beginning to the end of his address, Congress members attempted to interrupt the address of the Governor.

Through the address, the state BJP government was trying to make incorrect statement, Congress leaders alleged.

If it was any indication, one can imagine what Congress party was planning to do in this assembly session, which would be the last Budget session before this year Assembly election.

Congress legislature party leader Ravindra Choubey, PCC President Nand Kumar Patel, former Deputy Speaker Dharamjeet Singh, senior legislature Mohammad Akbar led from the front today from the opposition bench.

Such things are beyond the tradition of the Chhattisgarh Assembly, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said.

It seems the Congress has lost patience, while sitting in the opposition bench for a longer nine years, because of which they are behaving in such a fashion, Singh told reporters.

However, contradicting him, Leader of Opposition Ravindra Choubey said there was nothing new in the address and same old things were repeated when the law and order situation has collapsed in the state.

PCC sources said the Congress legislatures would be meeting again to decide how, when and on which points the state BJP government would be attacked to expose the real condition of the state.

Meanwhile, BJP members, led by Parliamentary Minister Brij Mohan Agrawal are discussing how to face the opposition attack ahead of the state assembly election.
