Kawardha, July 17, 2009: At least two villagers were killed and 24 have been affected of diarrhoea and admitted in the District Hospital in Kawardha district.
Two persons were killed as diarrhoea broke out in Salhebara village under the Bodla block of Kawardha district, officials admitted today.
At least 24 of the villagers have been admitted in the district hospital in serious condition.
Among the admitted villagers, five are children, officials said.
Of the killed persons 24 year old Phaguram was from nearby Murbahi village and had come to his relatives at Salhebara, where as 48 year old Jonhu was from the village, they said.
District Administration today claimed the situation in the village was under control and every step has been taken and medical teams have been camping in the village also.
