First Commercial Court of India in Raipur

     Raipur, September 10, 2016: Foundation stone was laid today for the first commercial court of India at Chhattisgarh capital Raipur.

     Chief Justice of India T S Thakur, Chhattisgarh High Court Chief Justice Deepak Gupta Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and a host of judicial and civil officials and Ministers were present at Naya Raipur for the foundation stone laying ceremony.

     Commercially Chhattisgarh is expanding and for its dispute resolution Commercial court would be opened at Raipur, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh told reporters.

      The Commercial Dispute Resolution Centre and the Commercial Court Building would be constructed with an expenditure of Rs 6 crore.

     The First Commercial Court of the Country was inaugurated on July 02, last by the Supreme Court judge Justice Madan B Lokur and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh at Naya Raipur.
