Kawardha, August 30, 2009: Chhattisgarh government would launch its free power to farmer scheme from the Gandhi Jayanti day.
On the Birth Day of Mahatma Gandhi, Chhattisgarh Government would launch its scheme to provide free power to the farmers in the state, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today said at Raja Nawagaon of Bodla block while addressing a gathering of farmers.
Under the scheme irrigation pumps up to five horse power would be provided free electricity by the state government to all sections of the farmer.
