Heavy Rainfall warning

     Janjgir-Champa, September 16, 2011: The Weather Department has issued warning of heavy rainfall in many parts of Chhattisgarh in the next two days.

     As per the information received from the Weather Department, there would be heavy rainfall with lightening in many parts of the state, officials said here today.

     Looking into the warning, the District administration had put its entire staff on high alert and asked the people living in low laying areas to take extra pre-caution.

     The Flood Control Room has also been asked to remain alert, they said.
