Raipur, September 15, 2011: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today expressed serious concern over the steep increase in prices of petrol by Rs three by the Centre and demanded roll back in prices.

The increase in prices of petrol by three more rupees would help increase the inflation rate further, he said.

Strongly criticising the decision of the Centre to increase the prices, he said this would further burdened the common men.

Increase in prices of petrol, diesel or LPG has a direct and adverse impact on the common men and especially lower income group and poor people of the society, Singh said and demanded roll back in prices.
