Raipur, November 21, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Labour and Employment Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya for the “historic” implementation of four labour codes in the country.
Chief Minister Sai said that this important labour reform decision is an unprecedented guarantee of the rights, security, social respect, and economic empowerment of more than 40 crore workers in the country.
Sai said that today is a milestone in the history of India’s labour sector. The implementation of the four labour codes will ensure the right to minimum wage, equal pay for women, gratuity for fixed-term employees, social security for every worker, free health checkups, and double pay for overtime across the country.
He said that these provisions will not only benefit the working class but will also make the industrial environment more transparent, balanced, and worker-friendly.
The Chief Minister said that the implementation of the Labour Codes is a major transformative step towards the inclusive and self-reliant India envisioned by Prime Minister Modi.
Sai said that India’s working population is the foundation of the nation’s productive power and economic prosperity, and protecting their rights is a priority for any strong nation. These Codes will provide a more secure, respectful, and empowering environment for the country’s workforce.
Chief Minister Sai expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Mandaviya for this decision, which prioritizes the protection of workers’ rights, their welfare, and social security.
He said that these reforms will prove to be the foundation of a new economy, better industrial relations, and a strong labour market.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the effective implementation of these Labour Codes will further strengthen employment, production, investment, and industrial development across the country, thereby enhancing India’s global competitiveness.
