     Raipur, February 23, 2011: A house committee of the Chhattisgarh Assembly would probe the implementation of the integrated watershed management programme and also the works given to the NGOs.

     Ruling BJP member Devji Bhai Patel today raised the issue of involvement of NGOs in the integrated water shed management programme during the question hour and questioned the capability and qualification of an NGO in such programme.

     Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Ram Vichar Netam dismissed any allegation of corruption in the matter.

     However, agitated over the reply of the Minister, Leader of Opposition Ravindra Choubey, former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi, Mohammad Akbar, Dharamjit Singh, all Congress, asked several questions and tries to grill the minister on the issue.

     Finally Speaker Dharam Lal Kaushik said a house committee on Question and Reference would probe the matter.
