Raigarh, July 16, 2010: Chhattisgarh police have arrested one of the top officials of the Jindal Steel and Power Limited on charge of death due to negligence after two of the employees were killed and one injured in a mishap in the plant on Wednesday.
Manager of the Oxygen Plant of the Jindal Steel, Sitaram Garg was arrested by the police and subsequently released on bail after two of the workers were killed and one injured on Wednesdaylast, Raigarh police said.
Due to cylinder blast on the oxygen plant of the Jindal steel, one Charge man and one worker were killed and one labourer was seriously injured, who is under going treatment in a local hospital here, police said.
After the incident the Raigarh Police had registered a case and investigating the matter.
