Jagdalpur, December 7, 2008: Chhattisgarh government has ordered for a magistrate inquiry into the death of a tribal undertrail, hails from Bijapur district and was lodged in Jagdalpur central jail.
Forty six years old Katlen Satyam of Gerragudda, under police station Maddedh in Bijapur district had been put in Jagdalpur Central jail during his trial and on November 2, last he died in Maharani Hospital during treatment, officials said here today.
Looking into the case, the state government had ordered for a magistrate probe into that incident of death, they said.
The state government has also urged the people to provide information, if they have any, regarding the death of the undertrail on or before December 12.
