Raipur, April 03, 2024: Normal life has been affected in many parts of the Chhattisgarh today due to heatwave condition and even affecting election campaign.
Weather Department said today, maximum temperatures are in the range of 40-44°C in many parts of Chhattisgarh.
Dongargarh in Rajnandgaon district recorded 44.9 degree, which is the highest temperature recorded today in any city of Chhattisgarh.
Durg was the second hot city with 42.8 degree. Also Mana Airport Raipur had 41 degree, Bilaspur 40.5 degree and Jagdalpur has 40.2 degree Celsius temperature.
Above normal (1°C to 3.0°C) had been recorded in many places of Chhattisgarh today.
