     Dantewada, November 7, 2009: A large number of Maoists have detonated and completely damaged buildings of two schools in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.

     About 100 armed rebels planted improvised explosive devices and exploded the buildings of two schools at Phulpar yesterday night under Kuakonda police station, Dantewada District Superintendent of Police Ambrish Mishra told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.

     Teaching had adversely been affected due to the blasts, the Dantewada District Administration said.

     About 200 school buildings have been exploded so far by the Maoists in Dantewada, Bastar and other neighbouring districts, Mishra said.
