Raipur, December 26, 2008: Prominent Minister of Chhattisgarh Brij Mohan Agrawal was today injured in a road accident.
PWD, School Education and Religious Affairs Minister Agrawal told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com that he received injuries due to the accident.
“I have received injuries on my leg but due to blessings and best wishes of the people of Chhattisgarh I am saved,” he said from Delhi by phone.
Two motor cycle riders collided with the pilot vehicle of the convoy of Agrawal today in the National Highway – 6 when he was proceeding towards Airport to go to Delhi, Raipur Police said.
The Pilot vehicle was stopped immediately after the motor cycle collided with it. As that vehicle stopped immediately, the vehicle in which the Minister was travelling in hit the pilot from the behind and in that incident Agrawal also sustained injuries, they said.
Both the motor cycle riders have been injured, who were immediately rushed to the hospital and are out of danger, police said.
