Raipur, January 20, 2025: Election for Municipality and Panchayat in Chhattisgarh will be announced today and with that the model code of conduct will also be in force from in the state.
The Chhattisgarh State Election Commission has today called a press conference at 3 PM to announce the election schedule.
The election for urban local bodies will be held through EVM whereas the election for three-tier Panchayats will be conducted through ballot papers, Commission sources said.
The Commission will announce the dates also keeping in mind the Board examinations schedule for the Class X and XII.
