Raipur, June 29, 2009: Chhattisgarh Government has launched a new campaign “Hum Honge Panchvi Pass” to make all villages of the state total literate.
It has now been decided to declare those villages total literate or educated, where all the villagers have passed the standard fifth or eighth, state Education Department officials said.
If that had been achieved, the districts would be honoured other wise all the districts have been asked to identify at least five such villages in every block and make them total literate.
To achieve that target the state Government had also launched a “Hum Honge Panchvi Pass” campaign in the state to achieve that target, they said.
The villages, where all have passed the Standard Fifth would be honoured by the state, the officials said.
