Raipur, April 26, 2025: The Chhattisgarh government, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, has taken a very important step to promote industrial investment in the state.
Various necessary approvals and services will now be provided to investors within the stipulated time frame. Along with this, many new services have also been notified under the Chhattisgarh Public Service Guarantee Act, 2011, which will accelerate industrial development and strengthen the confidence of investors, official sources said today.

Chief Minister Sai assured it was his government’s priority to make Chhattisgarh the most investor-friendly state in the country.
Industrial development will not only strengthen the economy of the state but will also create extensive employment opportunities for the youth. The state government is committed to providing quick, transparent and accountable services to investors, he said.

According to the order issued by the State Investment Promotion Board, a time limit of 60 days has been fixed for granting permission under hazardous and other waste management, 60 days for permission for bio-medical waste management, 30 days for approval for solid waste management and 30 days for permission for construction and demolition waste management.
Similarly, permission for water extraction from river or public reservoirs will be granted in 300 days, while the certificate of non-availability of water from the water supply agency will be issued within 90 days.
A maximum time limit of 45 days has been fixed for five stages related to building construction such as building plan approval, permission for alteration or revision, permission for demolition and reconstruction, plinth level approval and occupancy/completion certificate.
Similarly, 45 days have been fixed for registration, renewal and inspection for installation of lifts and escalators.
A time limit of 45 days has also been fixed for registration of startup units. Apart from this, the Investors’ Facilitation Centre and Investment Promotion Agency will respond to queries within 7 days and resolve queries and complaints within 15 days. Queries of service sector units will also be resolved within 7 days and complaints within 15 days.
Chief Minister Sai has said that simplification of procedures and timely settlement of services for the convenience of investors is the priority of the Chhattisgarh government. We are confident that with this Chhattisgarh will be able to make its place on the industrial map of the country more rapidly.
It is worth noting that the services which were not notified under the Public Service Guarantee Act till now will be considered notified through this order. This order has been implemented in the state. This effort of the Chhattisgarh government will prove helpful in making the state a leader in the field of industrial development, official sources said.
