     Raipur, September 14, 2009: Amid preparation for large scale assault on naxalites, Chhattisgarh Government today affected the posting of 12 IPS officers, including one DG and two Additional DG ranked officers.

     Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today handed over the charge of Public Prosecution of IG Rajesh Mishra to DG Home Guard Anil M Navaney as additional charge and made Mishra IG Anti-naxal joint operation and Chhattisgarh Armed Forces.

     ADG CID Ram Niwas is made ADG Anti-Naxal Joint Operation, CAF and STF and ADG CAF Giridhari Nayak is made ADG SIB, Training, CTJW College Kanker and ATS Training Police headquarters, Raipur.

     P N Tiwari is the new IG CID, Rail and Traffic, officials said today.

     DIG Administration Arun Dev Gautam is made DIG Rajnandgaon, DIG CAF-Bhilai M S Tomar is DIG Kanker and DIG Finance and Planning Himanshu Gupta is made DIG CAF Bhilai.

     DIG SCRB in Police Headquarters, R K Dewangan is made DIG CAF Bilaspur in place of DIG Bharat Singh. Singh is made Deputy Director Police Training College Chandkhuri and Additional SP Gariabandh Sheikh Arif is made SP Dhamtari in place of Neha Champawat, who proceeded on leave.
