Raipur, February 20, 2009: The next session of the Chhattisgarh assembly would be from July 20.
Continue with the tradition Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik on the last day of the Budget session said today the next session, which would be Monsoon session, is expected from July 20.
The Speaker said this before declaring the house sine die.
Kaushik also said on the budget session, which was ended today, four bills were passed.
Among the bills passed were the Appropriation bill, which was passed unanimously, he said.
Besides the Speaker, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, Leader of Opposition Ravindra Choubey and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Brij Mohan Agrawal also praised the 36 new MLAs and 11 women legislators for their active participation on the house proceedings.
Finally the Speaker declared the house sine die, thus the end of the Budget Session.
