Ambikapur, August 27, 2010: Some unidentified miscreants have set the Regional Transport office of Ambikapur on fire, officials said today.
For the second time the Ambikapur RTO office has been set on fire, which was taken seriously by the state government and Principal Secretary Transport N K Aswal, officials said.
After the Department had gathered evidences against a lot of vehicles, which were running illegally the RTO office was set on fire previously and last night also it was again set on fire.
Although local police has registered a case and probing the matter, Principal Secretary Aswal, after talking to the IG and SP of Sarguja, had asked his Additional Commissioner Transport B S Maravi to personally probe the matter.
