     Raipur, November 13, 2022: Amidst men-animal conflict, one more male elephant was killed after came in contact with live electric wire.

     In the Gidhpuri area of Deopuri region of the famous Bar Nawapara forest area forest people found one carcass of a tucker.

    On examination by a team of 3 doctors it was found that the male elephant was electrocuted, forest official sources said today.

      On investigation it was found that the elephant was killed by villagers, they said adding a case was registered on November 7 last in that connection.

     In this connection two villagers from Pakrid were arrested under various sections of the Wildlife Act and sent to judicial remand by a local court in Baloda Bazar district.
