Jagdalpur, August 1, 2009: P Sundarraj has taken over charges as the new District Superintendent of Police of Bastar district in Chhattisgarh.
Welcoming him in a function at Jagdalpur, District Collector R Sangeeta hoped the young and energetic officer would work in full capacity to maintain law and order situation in Bastar district.
She also said the district administration and the police would work in a much coordinated manner.
Speaking in the function Sundarraj said he got a golden opportunity to work in Bastar district.
He knew very well that Bastar is a highly sensitive district and he would work along with the district administration in maintaining law and order situation here.
The new SP also sought cooperation from all in that matter.
