Kawardha, October 10, 2022: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today said the state government would start procuring paddy from the registered farmers from November 01.
“From November 01, the state government would start procuring paddy from the farmers,” Chief Minister told villagers at Jhalmala village in Kawardha district.
He also assured the farmers this season, there would not be any scarcity of gunny bags for the paddy procurement.
There will be sufficient gunny bags available this time, Baghel said adding the government will make elaborate arrangement for the paddy procurement.
Unlike the previous years, farmers will not face any difficulties during paddy procurement as this time besides elaborate arrangements, sufficient stock of gunny bags would also be made available, he said.
