Raipur, August 21, 2009: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today cleared the posting of Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer Pradeep Pant as the Food Secretary whereas made amendment in the posting of two other officers.
Pant, has been given Food and Civil Supply and Consumer Protection Department as additional charge to assist Principal Secretary Food Vivek Dhand.
Pant is also functioning as the Commissioner cum Director Food and Civil Supply Department and the Secretary post is given as additional charge, a GAD order said today.
Meanwhile, amending the earlier order of August 16, Vinod Gupta has been made as the Special Secretary Industry and Commerce with the additional charge of the Chief Executive Officer of the Chhattisgarh InfoTech Biotech Promotion Society.
Similarly IFS officer Debashis Das has been made the Special Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Department.
