Korba, August 17, 2009: AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi would visit Korba and Raipur this week, Congress leaders said today.
Gandhi would be visiting Korba and Raipur and his details programmes are being worked out, General Secretary of the Student Congress NSUI Uttar Pradesh Unit, Ajay Kumar Mishra told reporters here.
Gandhi would likely to arrive on Thursday at Raipur and could go to Bastar and Bilaspur districts also.
He could stay here for two days, for which party has already started its preparation, Mishra said.
Gandhi is scheduled to interact with the students of the Korba Government College here, the NSUI leader, in-charge of Chhattisgarh election, said.
NSUI has launched a membership drive from today and would conclude on August 21, the day when Gandhi would be in the state.
