Raipur, January 7, 2009: One of the prominent religious functions of Chhattisgarh, Rajim Kumbh would start from February 9, Culture Minister Brij Mohan Agrawal said today.
Rajim Kumbh would start from February 9 and continue up to February 24, Agrawal said.
However, religious functions would start from January 9 for one month just before the start of the Kumbh on the same place, they said.
Special cell has been created in the Culture Department for the multi-crore budgetted Kumbh mela.
The senior Minister also reviewed the preparation for the Kumbh with the officials yesterday.
