Raipur, October 20, 2011: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today returned to the state from an eleven-day tour of the United States of America.
Ministers Nankiram Kanwar, Chandrasekhar Sahu, Rajesh Munat, Dayal Das Baghel, Ram Vichar Netam and chairmen of several state boards and officials lined up at the Mana Airport to welcome him.
Power Secretary Aman Singh, Industry Secretary Dinesh Shrivastava and OSD to CM Vikram Singh Sisodia had accompanied the Chief Minister on his tour of Los Angeles and San Francisco among other places starting from October 9 last.
This was his first US visit during second tenure as the Chief Minister.
For the benefit of the state and its development, he was going on a foreign tour, he had told reporters at the Airport before leaving for America.
