Raman Singh to hoist Tri-Colour at Ambikapur

     Raipur, January 17, 2014: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh could hoist the national flag from Ambikapur, official sources said today.

     The Chief Minister may not hoist national flag from Bastar regional headquarters Jagdalpur, official sources said.

     Most likely the Chief Minister would receive the salute at Ambikapur, the regional headquarters of Sarguja, they added.

     The government could announce the venue shortly, the sources said.

     It was not immediately known what had forced the Chief Minister to change the venue.

     The ruling BJP had not done well in the Assembly election in both Bastar and Sarguja region.
