     Raipur, January 25, 2014: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh will hoist the Tri-Colour at Sarguja District headquarters Ambikapur during Republic Day celebration.

     Governor Shekhar Dutt will receive the salute to a ceremonial parade at Raipur on the occasion of Republic Day.

     All preparations have been completed for celebration of Republic day in all the district headquarters of the state, official sources said.

     ″All district Superintendents of Police have been asked to make elaborate security arrangements ahead of the Republic Day,″ Director General of Police of Chhattisgarh Ramniwas told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.

     The Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh will hoist the Tri-Colour at Ambikapur, the district headquarters of Sarguja.

     This would be the first time any Chief Minister of the state would hoist the Tri-Colour in Ambikapur.

     Assembly Speaker Gouri Shankar Agrawal would be the Chief Guest at Jagdalpur, the divisional headquarters of Bastar, where previously Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh was hoisting the flag.

     Home Minister Ram Sewak Painkra would hoist the National Flag at Surajpur, official sources said.
