Raipur, July 20, 2009: Amid stepped up naxal activities, Chhattisgarh Government today said it would celebrate the Independence Day with full patriotism and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh would hoist the Tri-colour at the capital city.
Singh would receive salute of a ceremonial parade at the Police Parade Ground here, where as Assembly Speaker Dharam Lal Kaushik would hoist the flag at Bilaspur, a General Administration Department order said here today.
The state government has also informed all the District Collectors that the Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries of the Government would hoist the National Flag at the district level.
The Government has also asked the district administration to prepare the Independence Day programme in consultation with the Chief Minister, Minister, or Parliamentary Secretary, who would be the Chief Guest of the function in their districts.
As per the order, among the Ministers, Nanki Ram Kanwar would hoist flag at Korba, Brij Mohan Agrawal at Bastar, Amar Agrawal at Raigarh, Ram Vichar Netam at Sarguja, Chandrasekhar Sahu at Mahasamund, Hemchand Yadav at Durg, Rajesh Munat at Rajnandgaon, Punnulal Mohile at Janjgir-Champa, Kedar Kashyap at Narayanpur, Lata Usendi at Dantewada and Vikram Usendi at Kanker.
Similarly from the Parliamentary Secretaries, Siyaram Sahu at Kawardha, Bhaiyalal Rajwade Korea, Vijay Baghel at Dhamtari, Mahesh Gagada at Bijapur, Yudhveer Singh Ju Deo at Jashpur, Bharat Sai at Police District Balrampur, and Sidhdhanath Pekra at Surajpur police district, the order said.
Parliamentary Secretary Komal Janghel would be with Minister Rajesh Munat during Rajnandgaon flag hoisting ceremony, where as Om Prakash Rathia would be with Minister Amar Agrawal at Raigarh.
