Retired PCCF becomes Chairman of Bio-Diversity Board

     Raipur, November 14, 2022: Chhattisgarh Government today appointed Rakesh Chaturvedi as the Chairman of the State Bio-diversity Board.

     Rakesh Chaturvedi had recently been retired from the post of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Head of Forest Force.

     The retired Indian Forest Service officer has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board for a fixed tenure of three years, the order said.

     Chaturvedi is known as a soft spoken officer, who as the PCCF was enjoying the confidence of the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
