     Raipur, February 24, 2016: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today said his government has started preparation to open a medical college at Sarguja.

     After setting up the Sarguja University, the preparation has already been started to set up a medical college at Sarguja, said the Chief Minister.

     For opening of the medical college budgetary provisions have also been made, said Singh.

     The State government has also applied for permission from the Medical Council of India for opening of the medical college at Sarguja.

     For upgradation of the Ambikapur District Hospital provisions have also been made in the state budget, Singh said and assured that soon the medical college would be opened in the northern district of Chhattisgarh.
