Raipur, May 27, 2010: Chhattisgarh has been experiencing rainfall since yesterday bringing down the mercury to a tolerate level in some parts of the state.
North and south of Chhattisgarh were experiencing rainfall for the last two days and today Capital Raipur also experienced rainfall.
Clouds were still hovering over the sky of the capital city, indicating that there could be more rainfall in the near future.
Since afternoon, the capital city and its neighbouring areas had been experiencing rainfall with high speed wind, which had help in bringing down the temperature.
The mercury had gone above 45 degree Celsius in some places and the current spell of rainfall would bring respite to the life of both the human and the animals, Weathermen said.
