Korba, April 25, 2011: Police have recovered a human skeleton from Kosgai hill of the Korba District in Chhattisgarh, police said today.
Katghora Police has seized human skeleton from Kosgai hill, which was gaining popularity as a tourist spot and was probing the matter, Korba police said today.
On information Katghora police Station House Officer V S Maravi went to the hill and seized a skull and few bones of a human, besides a black trouser and a check shirt, they said.
Police was clueless about the identity of the skeleton, which was said to be of 20 to 30 years old and after the death, most parts of the body might have been eaten by the animals.
Help of forensic experts are being taken to ascertain the cause of the death, they added.
The matter has created a sensation in the area.
