New Delhi, September 25, 2012: Looking into the pace of growth of Chhattisgarh, it would soon find a place among the top three most developed states of the country, State Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh told a select gathering of potential investors here today.
Inviting overseas companies to invest in Chhattisgarh and answering questions in a road show ahead of the ambitious Global Investors Meet at Naya Raipur, the Chief Minister said Chhattisgarh has carved a special place for itself after achieving remarkable economic growth.
“Today Chhattisgarh is being considered among the top five rapidly growing economy in India and in the coming years it would find a place among the top three most developed state of the country,” Singh said.
This was because of drafting and executing right policies and creating a positive environment for development, he said.
During the state foundation day 2012 Chhattisgarh would organise a Global Investors Meet at the Administrative capital Naya Raipur in the first week of November.
“Industrial peace and rapid development” have become the identity of Chhattisgarh, which was carved out on November 01, 2000 as a separate state, Singh said.
Industry Minister Rajesh Munat, Chief Secretary Sunil Kumar, Deputy Chairman of State Planning Board Shivraj Singh, Environment Secretary N Baijendra Kumar and Energy Secretary Aman Singh were also present during the road show.
