Raipur, June 29, 2023: A day after naming him the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Senior Minister T S Singhdeo today met the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel here.
Singhdeo met Baghel at CM House in the presence of AICC In charge Kumari Selja.
Baghel congratulated Singhdeo on becoming Deputy Chief Minister and offered him sweets, CM House sources said.
Baghel and Singhdeo have been locked in a political war over the so called power sharing formula as the senior Minister had openly expressed his desire to become the Chief Minister.
“Congress President has approved the proposal for the appointment of Shri T S Singh Deo as the Deputy Chief Minister in Chhattisgarh Government,” AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal through a release said yesterday.
CM Baghel reacting to the development had said “hain taiyar hum” (I am ready for this). In a twitter message Baghel had said “Congratulation and best wishes to Maharaj Sahab (T S Singhdeo) for the responsibility of Deputy Chief Minister”.
