Raipur, October 18, 2015: At least seven school children died today and 25 sustained injuries as a tractor trolley, in which they were travelling in, turned turtle in Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh.
The incident took place near Gunderdehi, about 12 km from Phingeswar, when the children were going for Devi darshan in a tractor trolley to SonaeeRupaee Temple, officials said.
In that accident nine children are also serious and the rest escaped with minor injury.
All the injured have been admitted at Raipur Medical College Hospital.
All the dead and the injured students are from Rachkatti Middle School, officials said.
Police said a total of 73 students were travelling in that tractor trolley when the accident took place.
