Raipur, August 11, 2009: Entire Chhattisgarh could experience more rainfall for the next two days, Weathermen forecasted today.
Light to heavy rainfall have occurred at many places in Chhattisgarh for the last three days, including four cm in Mana area of Raipur district yesterday, Meteorological Department sources told the ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
Due to the condition prevailing over Chhattisgarh, the state would experience more rainfall for the next two days and even heavy rainfall in isolated places, they warned.
Rain or thunder storm likely to occur also at many places in Chhattisgarh, the Weathermen said adding the capital city and many other places have been experiencing rainfall since early morning today.
The state had been facing a deficit of 23 per cent rainfall so far and the current spell of rain is expected to give respite to the farmers and the government, who fear a drought in the state looking into the cloud condition, state officials said.
