     Raipur/Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, July 20, 2010: The sleuths of Chhattisgarh Anti-Corruption Bureau today raided the premises of an Excise Sub Inspector of the Chhattisgarh Government and claimed to have recovered properties worth Rs 4 crore.

     Although the entire documents have not yet been examined but the initial estimates say the total amount might touch Rs four crore, Additional SP Anti-Corruption Bureau Manoj Khiladi said.

     ACB officials said besides records of investment in land and other properties, they have listed one pistol, one 12 bore gun and some illegal liquor from the premises of Excise Sub Inspector Lav Kumar Mishra.

     It is said that Mishra had been posted in Durg district for the last one decade and was trying for his promotion, when he is left with two years of service.

     According to Anti-Corruption Bureau SP R S Nayak, action was being initiated against Mishra under various sections of the Anti-Corruption Act.
