Raipur, August 05, 2025: Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 636.2 mm since June 1.
According to the information received from the State Flood Control Room established by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the highest rainfall of 1054.2 mm has been recorded in Balrampur district so far in the state.
The lowest rainfall of 329.0 mm has been recorded in Bemetara district.
In Raipur division, 581.2 mm average rainfall has been recorded in Raipur district, 557.5 mm in Balodabazar, 499.8 mm in Gariaband, 538.2 mm in Mahasamund and 505.1 mm in Dhamtari.
In Bilaspur division, average rainfall of 675.8 mm was recorded in Bilaspur district, 680.4 mm in Mungeli, 795.8 mm in Raigarh, 867.2 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 710.3 mm in Korba, 632.1 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 594.5 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh and 729.2 mm in Sakti.
In Durg division, Durg district has recorded 506.8 mm rainfall, Kawardha has recorded 472.4 mm, Rajnandgaon has recorded 552.4 mm, Balod has recorded 591.9 mm, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki has recorded 791.1 mm, and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai has recorded 452.1 mm average rainfall.
In Sarguja division, Sarguja district has recorded 477.3 mm rainfall, Surajpur has recorded 818.5 mm, Jashpur has recorded 719.1 mm, Korea has recorded 739.3 mm and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur has recorded 709.2 mm average rainfall.
In Bastar division, 727.6 mm rainfall has been recorded in Bastar district, 482.4 mm in Kondagaon, 594.2 mm in Narayanpur, 804.5 mm in Bijapur, 497.8 mm in Sukma, 644.6 mm in Kanker and 664.1 mm in Dantewada average rainfall has been recorded.
