Raipur, July 19, 2024: Rich tributes were paid today to the Chhattisgarh Special Task Force (STF) personnel Bharat Lal Sahu, who fell victim to a land mine blast yesterday of Maoists in Tarrem area of Bijapur district.
“Our Jawan had made supreme sacrifice in the fight against Maoists,” Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said paying tributes to the STF personnel.
After formation of his government, the fight against Maoists have intensified, he added.
The sacrifice of jawans will not go waste, Sai said.
The Chief Minister also met the family members of the martyr jawan.
CM Sai, Deputy Chief Minister-Home Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Revenue Minister Tankram Verma and Director General of Police Ashok Juneja paid tributes to martyred STF Jawan Sahu.
After the tributes function at the Fourth Battalion, Mana Raipur his body was sent to his residence in Saddu area of Raipur city.
