Raipur, February 12, 2010: Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today made a reshuffle in the IAS cadre making Principal Secretary D S Mishra Agriculture Produce Commissioner.
D S Mishra and Additional Chief Secretary Serjius Minj swapped their departments, except Forest. Mishra is the new Agriculture Produce Commissioner and Principal Secretary Agriculture where as Minj has been allotted the Departments of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development.
Principal Secretary to Governor Prafulla Chandra Dalai is given the Forest Department as additional charge, official sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
Another powerful IAS officer Vivek Dhand is now the Principal Secretary Labour and Labour Commissioner and Food and Civil Supply Department.
The Chief Minister took away Urban Development Department from Dhand and given to Jawahar Srivastav.
General Administration Department of Srivastav is allotted to Nidhi Chhibbar and her post of Commissioner Land Records and Government Press are given to K Sriniwasulu as additional charge along with his previous responsibility of Registrar Corporative Societies.
Taking away NREGS from Renu G Pillay that had been given as additional charge to K Subramanyam, who is also the Secretary to the Chief Minister. Pillay is now Secretary Finance only.
The state government also made a partial change in the transfer order of Amit Kataria and his transferred to Dhamtari has been cancelled and in his place Secretary Revenue Board, Bilaspur Sangeetha P has been made the new District Collector Dhamtari.
