Raipur, September 28, 2012: Senior IAS officer D S Misra was today promoted as the Additional Chief Secretary by the state government.
A 1982 batch IAS Misra was the fifth senior most IAS officer of the state.
On completion of 30 years of service, he was promoted as the Additional Chief Secretary, a state release said.
He would now function as the Additional Chief Secretary Finance, Planning, Commercial Tax (excluding Excise and Registration), the posts he was holding as the Principal Secretary.
