Raipur, September 01, 2012: An ambitious e-docketing system was today introduced in the Women and Child Welfare Department of Chhattisgarh.
Departmental Minister Lata Usendi launched the programme at a function here in the presence of Departmental Secretary Subrat Sahoo.
E-docketing was the beginning of a new system and an important step towards digitalization of the departmental work, Minister Usendi said.
E-docketing is based on Cloud system, under which communications can be received from any point and after upload of any document the recipients would get an SMS on mobile and also an alert on their computers and an e-mail.
Data can be stored for five years on Cloud system and in case of crash of computer or damage of documents or files that can easily be retrieved under this system, officials said.
