Jharkhand CM skips ED summons, Reaches Raipur for Rajyotshav, Tribal Festival

     Raipur, November 03, 2022: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today preferred to reach Raipur to attend the closing ceremony of the Rajyotshav and the National Tribal Dance Festival, instead of facing the Enforcement Directorate interrogation in an alleged money laundering case.

     The ED had asked CM Soren to appear for questioning at its regional office at Jharkhand capital Ranchi at 11 am but he did not go there.

     “The ED has summoned me. Come and arrest me if I have committed a serious crime instead of sending a summons for questioning,” said Soren.

     After reaching Raipur, the Chief Minister said, BJP was using ED to target him.

     The BJP was hatching a conspiracy against him as his government has been taking pro-people measures, Soren said.

     The Jharkhand Chief Minister is the Chief Guest in the Third National Tribal Dance Festival and also in the closing ceremony of the state foundation day event Rajyotshav-2022.
