Bilaspur, July 27, 2010: Chhattisgarh Government has appointed a magistrate to probe the death of an undertrial Sant Kumar Lahare during treatment.
Joint Collector and Executive Magistrate M L Gupta would probe the death of the Lahare, official sources said here.
A resident of village Junadih (Jhilmili) under Pamgarh police station of Janjgir-Champa district, undertrial Lahare died on July 3, last when he was undergoing treatment at the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur, they said.
The magistrate would probe how he died and under what circumstances and if any one has any information on that may be provided to the Magistrate, the officials said.
